Where do I go from here?
All summer has gone by without a single entry…I worry about abandoning my blog. I dared myself not to do that. However, life gets in the way. kids out of school for summer..and somehow with limited hours in the day we are forced to prioritize.
What’s next?
ArtWalk is a fun art festival in San Diego’s Little Italy. The atmosphere, the food and the art are all wonderful. I’ll be sharing 3 booths with my fellow art6-ers. I have been busy making monotypes and painting small format. My new paintings are collaged monotypes on wood panels mixed with pastels, pencil and acrylics. They are generally small paintings and can hang as a series of 2, 3 or 4 (or more) as well as just by themselves. ArtWalk [...]

I don’t think I’m alone when I say that a lot of artists have a difficult time talking about their work in a public setting. I am usually very outspoken and really not the one hiding in the corner of a room full of people, but when it comes to talking about my work , the process, or my inspiration, I tend to be a bit shy…unless of course I have a glass of wine in hand.
