Have you ever asked yourself…”Do I want people to know exactly who I am, or do I work on the image I want them to have of me?”
I have spent the past week experimenting a lot in my studio, merging 2 of my favorite mediums; photography and encaustic. I am, however not going to talk about that today, I brought it up because that’s the photo I wanted to use and needed to tie it in (I’m clever like that) also because as I sat there a few days ago it hit me: I’m going to be 44 in a few days, and I am not a [...]
I am still trying to find a balance between the creative and the business side. I think most artists are (like me) lousy business people (though I do know quite a few exceptions). I am looking for a total of about 20 that I will use, so your chances for the painting are pretty damn good…If you think of a good question, that is.
swoooosh…did you see that? that’s time
It just flies, and before I know it, it’s been 2 weeks since my last post, since Artwalk, and too many things are going on.
