swoooosh…did you see that? that’s time
It just flies, and before I know it, it’s been 2 weeks since my last post, since Artwalk, and too many things are going on.
Here’s a recap.
Artwalk: So damn fun. Seriously!
First, thank you to all the people to came to see me, my friends and family, thank you to my new collectors, and thank you for continuing to support the Arts in San Diego. The art6 booths were jamming!
Two good friends from LA (who funny enough I hadn’t met in person, though we have been online friends through flickr) decided to surprise me, and well, that was just really all kinds of awesome. Thanks Flooz and Rhi! you made my day.

A weekend filled with fun, art, lots of talking and sore feet, ended with a visit from a goat . I’m not making this shit up, I swear.
After Artwalk, I went on a much needed vacation with my family and good friends to the Sea of Cortez (Mexico)..really and truly a magical experience. Saw dolphins, and whales and beautiful deserted beaches and turquoise waters and amazing sunsets and children’s laughter…that was all nice…but who am I kidding? also some nice cocktails, great wine, serious pampering, fresh clams, more food, and then some.
Tomorrow, I board a plane again to part take on my 25th year reunion from my school in Mexico City. I did not graduate with these friends since I moved to US in 10th grade, but I grew up with all of them. I am excited to laugh and share and remember and laugh, and enjoy, and laugh again. I’m excited to see my city, to eat my favorite tamales, to get back to my roots.
It will be a good transition before I get back and tackle that crazy world of mine. To experiment with my painting. I will (hopefully) be taking an encaustic workshop in early June, with Amber George (She’s funny and incredibly talented and a friend…also, she is guilty for my new addiction to monotypes) and we’ll see where it all takes me.
I am working on having my website updated, on art6, on enjoying my kids. I am also planning to do a giveaway pretty soon, stay tuned… details next week.
cliffhanger…see? I’m good like that.
but for now…
adios!

You will never convince me of the truth of all that hooey about a goat. HA! What an imagination… Was wondering where you’d got to! Glad to see you back, watch out for roving farm animals, have a wonderful time, write when you get back! XXOO
ooooh have fun at the reunion, sounds like a blast… much better than getting peed on by a goat!
