So the show is up and open to the public Feb 9-16, India Street Gallery I’m so thrilled on how it looks and excited for the reception on Friday…”Oh! what to wear” is a biggie in my brain right now especially because it’s Girl Scout cookie season and I’ve been going at it as if the whole country is going to run out and my mission is to store them all on my ass.
After the show is done and it comes down, the big question is …Now what? well, I move on to the other million things on my plate. The kids’ school fundraiser, a possible show in March, Artwalk in April…but that is still somewhat far away.
Today…I start what I have been dreading…moving my studio home which means, clearing out my kids playroom (ugh , I know..I’m a bitch right?) and moving my stuff out of my current studio (which I love..sigh) and into the no-longer-the-playroom. Oh stop!…they are getting a sweet deal, they will move their games and TV into their new…*drumroll..* LOUNGE…that’s right, that’s what we’ll call it (glamorizing is good)…and they are SO excited. My old office is now all theirs…well not yet, I have to clear out all my junk first.
Big transition coming up. Will soon report back, especially if I need to go on meds from anxiety of being home and trying to work while I cook dinner and mop, all while the kids storm in and out with their Nerf guns trying to conquer back their space.

you’re such a dork
When you get those meds…. SHARE!!!! Love that shot of you and the kids!! Too cute.
Maite;
I have had the brainstorm of a lifetime: before next Girl Scout season, we have to talk them into adding major iron supplements to the Thin Mints. Think about it: two big female problems that work together and cancel each other! It’s a win-win, eat more cookies!!
I love that shot! Your kids are such good sports!
